I'm saying that it's NOT my responsibility to put food on my grandchild's table every day; I expect the parents (MY children for whom I WAS responsible until the left home to set up their own independent lives) to have costed becoming parents and determined that they could afford to do so rather than assuming somebody else (me/you/the state) should jolly well pick up the tab if they can't.
Emergencies are a different matter and don't last for a complete childhood. As are gifts and presents freely given.

Are you openly saying you don’t/wouldn’t help your child out with raising your grandkid?

Blues fans have set up a Go- Fund - me page to raise funds for a permanent memorial at St Andrews and if enough raised, the rest towards the littlen's
funeral.
Its good to see football fans united for this. a tragedy he couldn't get to feel the love being shown now when he was alive.
I hope theirs a heaven

A lot of people do have kids as a fashion accessory and the problems start as soon as that kid don't behave like the ones they see on the telly.
There's also quite a lot of parental pressure for grandchildren "while they're still young enough to enjoy them"; my kids mother tried that route a few years back - I simply asked the question "Who pays to raise them?".
There seemed to be a big assumption that I'd "willingly chip in" on the everyday cost of bringing my grandchildren up - a notion that I quickly put to bed.

Maybe that was the case years ago. But nowadays some people have kids just to claim benefits and whilst struggling financially they are still popping out kids. Teens do it just because their friends do it etc

This story has made me withdraw my son from his school here in France.
To all those that got the video I sent yesterday of him saying we are massive lol, imagine that last week, 2 days running he got bitten by some little fucker. I also had a bad feeling in my stomach when I took him to gate cos nobody comes out to welcome him.
This story and poor little boy has made me realise that I'm not gonna ignore bad vibes I get regarding my son. Was taking the cheap route and sending him to a French state school. He is now gonna stay at home till Xmas and I'm gonna send him to international school come January.
We all take stuff for granted. All of you are weeping inside like me about this poor boy. Just make sure you look out for it in future and stick your nose in if needed. Better to be wrong than right.
Unless they are kept in solitary forever, then they will get ended within next 2 years

Years ago couples only had kids once they were financially stable, could provide for them etc.
Nowadays people are having kids especially teens just for the sake of it.

Was actually sobbing whilst applauding.
You think of all the poor couples that can't have kids and then you get these pair of lowlife wankers who do this. Honestly i have no words on how to describe the anger and disgust i have for these vermins. Society is fucked up.
I know quite a lot of wall fans and for some of the criticism they get 50% justified 50% unjustified, they are great blokes when it comes to things like this.

That poor little boy, obviously I didn't know him but this has honestly left a mark on me
Just how people can be so so cruel to a child of all people, an innocent child and his dad sending messages of 'end him'
I'm not a big believer in God, heave, reincarnation etc but if there is a god and this poor soul is brought back to Earth one day, I hope he gets a loving family, all the luck in the world because if there is a soul that deserves it, its him.
If course there are sadly 1000's of children out there in these sort of circumstances and it really does make you wonder about the human race sometimes as to how 'parents' can be so fucking eveil to their own flesh and blood.
Rest in eternal peace Arthur and today football clubs around the country played their part in making sure your name will never be forgotten.

I accept that Arthur's real mum is a nutter and deserves to be in prison because of what she did to her boyfriend, but I can't help but feel sorry for her right now. She is going to have to live with the knowledge that Arthur only ended up in the clutches of that savage animal Tustin and the equally sadistic sperm donor because she was sent to prison. Arthur would be alive if she hadn't got pissed up and stabbed someone to death. As a pisshead mentalist, she probably wasn't Mum of the Year, but Arthur would still be alive.
And now she can't even bury him or have control over that process, which ought to be a parent's right, because the two sides of the family can't agree on who gets to bury him. His remains are still in the morgue all these months later.
I can't imagine the guilt she must be feeling.
